Mathema Contest Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Mathema Contest. By participating in this competition, you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. About the Competition

The Mathema Contest is an interactive competition where contestants participate by paying a fee of $15. The competition aims to determine the intelligence of the participants through a test covering various topics related to mathematics. The competition consists of three stages, and the winner will be awarded a return tourist ticket to spend a weekend at Mon Choisy Beach Resort in Mauritius.

2. Competition Schedule

The competition will take place over a period of 3 months, divided into 3 phases, with each phase lasting a full month. The specific dates for each round and the qualifiers will be as follows:

3. Topics to be Tested

The competition will cover the following Math Placement Test Topics:

Arithmetic
Solution of Linear Equations
Distance
Equation/Geometry of Lines
Division of Polynomials
Factorisation
Basic Inequalities
Quadratic Equations

4. Contest Goals

Foster a passion for mathematics
Develop mathematical skills and the ability to solve arithmetic problems
Add fun and the spirit of competition
Establish the importance of mathematics education worldwide

5. Application Conditions

Age from 14 to 50
Must have a good internet connection
The competition is open to both genders
The subscription fee is non-refundable

6. Number of Questions

Each round of the competition will have a different number of questions and time limits:

1st Round: 40 questions, 40 minutes
2nd Round: 40 questions, 40 minutes
3rd & Last Round: 40 questions, 40 minutes
